# Can I reuse keys from a retired stake pool?

I’m a stake pool operator and I have a set of cold-keys that I had for another stake pool that has now been retired. I want to start another pool and I would usually build new cold keys. It’s just that I have those keys already on my air gapped machine. I don’t see why there would be anything wrong with doing this.
