My daughters has some ada in her Daedalus wallet which opens very slowly possibly because its an older laptop, she has asked me too look after her account. I had added a wallet to my Daedalus and was just going to try and send her ada to her account in my Daedalus in her wallet, but each time we tried her end for sending was stating invalid address even though I looked a few times and everything looked correct. Might give it a month to see if things change after the upgrade, if this doesn’t work is it possible to
just add wallet in my Daedalus and just restore all her details for her Daedalus in this new wallet, and this would just automatically go to my Daedalus in her name with her staking pool all as it was in her account?
Of course, u can restore her wallet on your daedalus… just use the seed words for her wallets… u can even import the walet on yoroi

Hi Alex thanks for the quick reply, so in my Daedalus wallet its only a matter of adding new wallet then restore, put all her details in and everything would just be the same as she had it in her Daedalus, same pool she was delegating too? and I don’t need to do anything else? We both are new to crypto so a little unsure of the right way to do certain things.

You don’t need to do anything… her wallet is already delegated:
- open daedalus and choose restore
- write the 24 seed words, set the name and the password (can be different)
- wait to sync
That’s all!
PS: u don’t need to create a new wallet, just restore her wallets

Hi Alex, Thanks for the advice, just followed your instructions and very easy, all done. I had tried with her the other day to send her ada to a wallet I set up but struggled with the address even though everything looked correct, this way less chance of any mistakes and a lot easier. Thanks again, we are lucky to have knowledgable people on the site making things easier for the newbies to understand.

As regards my issue, Alex sorted this out for me. Very easy just to had to restore her wallet on my Mac and everything was how she had it on her laptop including her pool.
