dardalus wallet has connection and sync problems. I tried to lunch from inside folder (cardano-launcher)after many times of failure to lunch regular from desktop and it worked perfectly. In my opinion the team should put short cut of cardano-launcher on desk top. I am not developer or programmer but after I watched you tube for a long time some one was explaining and it was one of his steps
