This release includes the latest governance changes, support for Plutus v3’s new cost model and byte string primitives, and updates related to the Constitution Committee quorum and economic parameters. Additionally, reference scripts in the Conway era are now supported. It is important to note, that this node version should only be used on SanchoNet. SanchoNet was respun over the weekend but is now operational. Due to the respin DReps and SPOs have to reregister to be able to participate again. If you’re not already on SanchoNet, now is the time to familiarize yourself with Cardano governance. The full release notes can be found [here](https://github.com/IntersectMBO/cardano-node/releases/tag/8.10.0-pre). ## Frederik Gregaard On The potential Of Blockchain Technology A recent post from Frederik Gregaard discusses the broader significance of blockchain technology beyond the hype of events like the Bitcoin halving. He points out that while blockchain’s impact may not be immediately apparent due to its foundational nature, it has the potential to revolutionize various industries. Within the Cardano ecosystem, Gregaard identifies five technological enablers crucial for realizing blockchain’s potential: - Decentralized Digital Identities - Zero-Knowledge Proofs, rollups, etc. - Oracles - Secure Bridges - Smart Legal Contracts For the full text, view [here](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7181027281899786242/?updateEntityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_feedUpdate%3A%28V2%2Curn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7181027281899786242%29) ## Ambassador Stories, Journal #38: Ha Nguyen ![|698.622641509434x288.98245614035085](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex023/uploads/cardano/original/3X/2/f/2f8d36e45d947a3418710e2ee2a9857e2bbc2567.jpeg) This week, we’re proud to once again present a new Ambassador Stories.
