Do i need to keep Daedalus Open to support the network

Hi guys , made my 1st transfer to the Daedalus wallet , is it best to keep the wallet open to support the network or is this not required ?

Not yet, the network is currently centralised during this roll out phase

When staking comes on line, sometime Q1/2 2018, you will be able to stake your ADA and support the network
