Government Seeks To Prohibit Citizen Owned a.i

Not immediately obvious, these two guys talking to Joe Rogan work for the State Department.

Here they claim to be two struggling small fries against big players like Google when in fact it’s well known that Google, the CIA, the State Department and the central banks all function in lockstep as a single living, feeding creature. So these two guys are working with Google not against them.

Here they seem to be making the case that citizens who make good decisions using their own large language models are as dangerous as citizens that have nukes.

Here they claim that open source a.i. is always about 1 year behind OpenAI when in fact Google’s own internal memo shows that open source citizen owned a.i. is pulling way ahead of both Google, and OpenAI.

That’s what this is really about! The centralized money/centralized tech running our government are losing control of the a.i. market to small players and even individuals that know how to roll their own a.i. large language models. So not only are they loosing money but they are losing control of the narrative that keeps people under their control when they don’t have access to unbiased information.

Throughout the video they complain almost exclusively about OpenAI and say almost nothing negative about Google’s a.i. program.
Here they argue that competition amongst a.i. companies leaves less money in the budget of each company for security. Great excuse for a Google monopoly on a.i.

If you continue to listen you will hear these guys make their pitch for a regulatory authority to come in and eliminate competition so that we can all be safe.

Here they call for federal licensing for anybody building large language models above a certain size. Kind of like an SEC for the a.i. industry. I wonder who they are going to favor? They also seem to be making a pitch for mandatory insurance for anyone using large language models. Also they actually say that they want the regulatory agency to set policy rather than law makers. Isn’t this the exact problem we are having with the SEC in the emerging cryptocurrency industry?

Using some crazy argument, they claim that taking centralized control of a.i. will protect the decentralized structure of our society which even they maintain created success in the United States. They argue that OpenAI has centralized a.i. and that we need to give that centralized control to the government (Google) in order to protect decentralization of all other infrastructure in the U.S.
WTF?

At this post in our own Cardano Forum are links where anybody can find the resources to build their own a.i models . It’s not any harder than writing regular software. In fact in many ways it’s much easier. It would be very good for as many people as possible to establish our right to make a.i. models and to demonstrate that it is safe to do so. Making and using our own a.i. models will establish our rights and will demonstrate that they are safe contrary to the FUD spread by centralized powers.

In Gandhi’s time the government protected the salt making industry and controlled the population by making it illegal for citizens make their own salt. Here we are seeing the first moves of the U.S. Government, controlled by Big Bank and Big Tech, to prevent regular citizens from making their own a.i. models.

Perhaps the best way to decentralize the power of a.i. is for citizens to build and use their own a.i. models.
