# Help with changing username

Hi is there anyone here that can help me with the process of changing my username here on the forum.

Hello, @donnacodes

After the account is created, a grace period is given during which the user can change the username. Once this period is over it can only be changed by an admin.

Then, if there are solid reasons to change the user’s name, an admin may be able to help.
