FIXED by using ‘Cardano’ as the protocol instead of ‘TPraos’, per suggestion from:

Problems with running node 1.20.0 on testnet

Welcome @lespool and well spotted on that universal TPraos issue which is like an initiation experience for SPOs. Catching this error in the official documentation, even after 3 months, is still “left as an exercise for the reader”
