I’m a civil engineer with over a decade working on large infrastructure projects across the US. One of the biggest complaints from the clients I work with is that they do not have enough funding for maintaining and operating the infrastructure in their city or state.
I’m interested in developing a DApp that provides direct payment toward dedicated infrastructure funds from the end user. For example; a VMT tax where someone who uses ride sharing pays a fraction of their travel fee payment instantly into a roadway maintenance fund. This would be a VERY attractive DApp for state and local governments to promote.
