I am Olivier Mwatsimulamo, a dedicated and passionate supporter of the Cardano blockchain since 2021.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of contributing to Intersect in several ways — notably as a volunteer evaluator during the constitutional workshops and at multiple Intersect meetups in 2024, under the guidance of Mrs. Gemma.
I also had the privilege of serving as a speaker at two events organized by the Intersect WADA Regional Hub in Goma, DRC, and of hosting an Intersect Meetup in August 2024, which brought together local members of the Cardano community.
Through that initiative, more than 20 new members — both paid and unpaid — joined Intersect.
During the Constitutional Workshop held in Goma, I actively contributed to the discussions surrounding the ratification of the Cardano Constitution and shared input on CIP-1694 during a focused workshop session.
Beyond governance, I lead a learning group of over 15 members studying Haskell and Plutus under Coxygen Global, with the goal of empowering African developers to build meaningful solutions on Cardano.
Since Fund 9, I have been an active Community Reviewer in Project Catalyst, and I currently serve as a Milestone Reviewer for more than 15 funded projects.
Motivated by my commitment to the growth of Cardano and Intersect, I have applied to join the Membership & Community Committee (MCC) — to continue contributing to community education, member engagement, and stronger collaboration across the Cardano ecosystem.
If you believe in the value of community empowerment and inclusion, I would be deeply grateful for your support in this election. Together, we can continue building a stronger and more connected Cardano community. ![]()
