Linux Wallet, location of chain/wallet SOLVED

#1

3 days ago, I closed the wallet during restore; I either didn’t see the wallet restore in process or it wasn’t there. On reload, “the wallet you are trying to restore already exists” but there is no sign of an on-going restore.

Like an idiot, I’ve been opening and closing daedalus to “check” on it. Obviously, it needed to be open for an extended period of time to go through all the addresses in the block-chain until it hits mine.

EDIT:

OK so I got it working (this worked for me, it might not work for you, nobody told me to do it)
Go to:
/home/YOUR_NAME/.local/share/Daedalus

delete the wallet,
run the installer again:

bash ~/Downloads/Daedalus-mainnet-installer-1.1.0.960.bin

re-start Daedalus,
restore using pass-phrase.
It should no longer say “wallet you are trying to restore already exists” but wallet restore in progress.
