List of Cardano / ADA staking pools (Unofficial)

Got it! Thanks again for your help ^^

Staking pools will be part of the Daedalus wallet. There is no need for a domain to host a staking pool.

Check Charles Hoskinson interview

Yes, it is true.

However, remember these domains and websites exist for some reasons. They could be used to advertise a staking pool or allow users to subscribe its latest news by emails.

You can stake individually or join a pool using (later versions of) Daedalus but Iā€™m fairly sure you canā€™t host a pool without running a full node (and using a domain, Iā€™d think).

Transport Layer Security, TLS, more than likely will be a requirement, so @RobJF is correct you will need a domain.

@AdamSabla, if youā€™d please add our pool CardanoCloudPool.com, weā€™d appreciate it. As I recently shifted from my website hosting provider, self-signed [https] may still be in progress but the link above will work just fine.

Also much like the others, our infrastructure is cloud-based, always-on, and ready to go. Weā€™re eagerly anticipating the upcoming release. Additionally, weā€™ve provided some general information regarding ADA staking on the page, which may be helpful to some less aware of the upcoming change.

Thanks again!

Hi @AdamSabla , please add http://cardanoeuropepool.eu/

The ā€œfirst Cardano ADA staking pool in Europeā€? Mate, pleaseā€¦ Can we keep things grounded? On that false claim alone I would keep you off the list. Trying to dishonestly place yourself at an advantage relative to the competition ā€“ an advantage that clearly does not exist.

Razvan,We know that thereā€™s no competition, in fact, the text that be should write is ā€œthe first stake pool made in Europe for the Worldā€ itā€™s only a misunderstanding of my web developerā€¦:ā€™) keep it nice razvan

This whole thread should live in Random.

Not only does this have nothing to do with developers, but posting links without any info regarding the staking pools is little more than noise.

Charles has expressed that developing staking is the number one priority of Cardano at this point in time. Testing code is part of development.

Regarding info, many of the pools have more info listed when you click through. Thereā€™s also just a limit to how much info can be expressed at this point when the system is not live. People are mainly indicating their interest in being involved and helping develop when IOHK is ready.

Once staking is released I would venture to guess that it will be the catalyst for a significant increase in the price and popularity of ADA. Money talks!

Incentives
Two of the researchers were expected to deliver the solution proposal by 16 February, 2018. However, they have requested a further extension until the end of February to refine the paper. The meeting planned for the middle of February 2018 to review the proposal (and move to the technical specification and simulation phase) has been rescheduled for the beginning of March. This is the latest it can be pushed before it starts to block planned progress on Decentralisation. Once this occurs, the incentives scheme will be evaluated before the process of planning its implementation and integration into the Cardano platform. Two of the senior engineers will execute the simulations needed to establish the required level of confidence in the model.

From the latest weekle tech report.

So, no way beta-tests start before this meetingā€¦ imho the most optimist target for SHelley - early q2 will not be achievedā€¦ more likely we will see tests in late march hope not april!, that will last at least 1 month or so, looks like the release to the public will not be before June
