The first element of “friendliness” is the ability to save your work. (according to me)
Another is linking alternative editing possibilities.
Currently Marlowe / Blockly or JS or Haskell can be selected.
If it was possible to get all these options in one project (we start visually, then optimize the code in Haskell), it would be a solution for real projects.
The last, cosmetic one, is the color of the interface. Light / dark is such a basis among programmers.
Of course, these are only suggestions after very little experience with Marlowe, but in my opinion the tools would convince many people.
While on https://play.marlowe-finance.io/#/blockly I cannot connect to GitHub :-(.
