We’re opening SummA in beta and I’d really like to get feedback from Cardano users and builders.
The idea came from a simple frustration: when making a swap on Cardano, comparing the available options often means checking different tools manually, then trying to work out which result actually makes the most sense before signing.
At first, the obvious thing to compare is the number of tokens received. But that is not always the full picture. Route choice, fees, liquidity conditions and execution details can all affect the real outcome.
So we built SummA to make that comparison easier.
SummA is a Cardano DeFi meta-aggregator. It compares swap prices/routes from the sources integrated in the current beta, then lets the user choose what they want to sign with their own wallet.
A few important points:
SummA is non-custodial.
It is open in beta.
During the beta, SummA does not add its own fee. Network and provider fees may still apply.
We do not claim to cover every possible route yet.
We do not want to frame this as a guaranteed best-price tool.
The goal is to make Cardano swap comparison clearer and faster before signing.
Hi SummA team, welcome to the community! I just tried the beta and the interface is quite intuitive.
This is a much-needed tool for the Cardano ecosystem. The frustration of manual checking across DEXs is definitely real.
Looking forward to seeing how this project evolves. Good luck with the beta.
Thanks a lot for trying it and for the kind words.
That manual-checking frustration is exactly what we’re trying to reduce. If anything felt unclear, missing, or unnecessary while testing the beta, I’d be very interested to hear it.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to share such detailed feedback — we really appreciate it.
You understood the goal of SummA very well: making it easier for Cardano users to compare swap options in one place instead of jumping between different aggregators manually.
Your points are very useful, especially around transparency, quote freshness, and making the net result easier to verify. These are exactly the kind of details that matter if people are going to trust a comparison tool, so we’ll take your feedback into account as we continue improving the product.
We also agree that the non-custodial aspect should be explained more clearly, not just stated. Giving users more ways to understand where the numbers come from and how routes are sourced is something we want to improve.
On the token question, there is no SummA token planned today. Our focus right now is simply to make the tool useful, clear, and trustworthy for Cardano users.
Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback — it helps a lot.
