# New Daedalus Wallet Update?

Hi everybody! ,

Today I received this email from IOHK. Has anyone else received this message?

_Dear community member,_

_This is an important support message from IOHK about the Daedalus wallet._

_If you are not using the Daedalus wallet please ignore this email._

_On Saturday, November 17, 2018, IOHK encountered a technical problem and made a change to the Cardano network which is not compatible with old versions of the Daedalus wallet, a new version of the Daedalus wallet (Daedalus wallet 0.11.1+ Cardano SL 1.3.2) was released. In order to use the Daedalus wallet, this new version must be manually downloaded and installed._

Haven’t heard of this email before but what it’s saying is correct, everybody needs to manually update Daedalus to the latest version. Get it here, just download and run it: [https://daedaluswallet.io/#download](https://daedaluswallet.io/#download) (the install won’t work if Daedalus is already running).

THanks @RobJF, you are right! I I confused the 17 with the 27. … I thought it was a new update.
