# Node updates

Is there a place to follow to be notified or notice when new updates are out besides asking the node

```auto
git fetch --all --tags
git tag

```

hello Andy,

one way is to go to the GitHub ( [https://github.com/input-output-hk/cardano-node/releases](https://github.com/input-output-hk/cardano-node/releases)) and check the latest code of cardano-node.  
Also, you can **subscribe to get notifications** (see screenshot) as soon a new version has been released
