# Old Daedalus 0.8.2 Wallet

I have been away from crypto for a few years due to ill health. I have 3300 ADA in an old Daedalus wallet v0.8.2 However when I try to open the wallet it takes hours/days to connect to the network.
I have downloaded the new wallet but see the option to import from an older wallet is greyed out. Any ideas as to how I can recover my ADA?

Hello,
You will need the security phrase to restore your ADA! Do you have it? If yes then follow the steps:

After you will recover your ADA don’t forget to delegate them to get rewards
