# Plutus-playground-server doesn't work anymore

Hi everyone,

I can’t run the Plutus-playground-server anymore. It remains locked at this line:  
**"plutus-playground-server: for development use only."**

I can’t understand if I’m missing something. I tried running Nix with Linux and macOS (same situation). I followed the [Official tutorial](https://tutorials.cardanoacademy.io/plutus-pioneer-program/setting-up-plutus-playground/starting-plutus-playground)

Anyone in the same situation?

I’m trying to follow the [README](https://github.com/input-output-hk/plutus-apps/tree/main/plutus-playground-server) on GitHub to check if something has changed than before.

Seems like you may want to run with `./plutus-playground-server webserver` to host on port 8080 locally:

I managed to getting around it by using this specific commit:

```
Commit: 34aa9c323ed6da68a11f41d41d5aca9f469aaf4b
Date: 23.04.2021

```

This is my first time setting it up after I clean reinstall my MacOS in Monterey, and I have to do some workaround with it because no tutorial seems to work anymore. Now I can get it working again.

MacOS Monterey; Version 12.0.1 (21A559)  
MacBook Pro 13" M1, 2020
