I can see a list of them in decrediton but where do I find a list comparing them for fees, uptime etc. And can I still vote if I use a stakepool or does the stakepool operator get to vote for everyone who uses their service?
No, stake pools do not vote for you. Voting (in terms of Voltraire) will be a complete different thing.
From the concept it works very similar to staking but keys are different. Like having staking key, you will have a voting key. That means people can still delegate their vote to people but that has nothing to do with delegating ada to pools. It’s a concept that is known as liquid democracy.
Usually you will delegate your vote to certain “experts”. Explained in sources below.
