Project growth after Catalyst completion report acceptance

We’ve created this in response to some of the community feedback, and we’d love your feedback :ok_hand:

Challenges

Catalyst does not have a systematic way to confirm the growth of a project after the completion report is accepted.

We may not be able to run the PDCA cycle well because we cannot analyze what proposals have grown after the completion report is accepted.

For example, suppose a proposal with the nature of a demonstration experiment has completed the demonstration experiment and submitted a completion report. There may be some proposals for such demonstration experiments that have progressed well to the next step and some that have not, but this cannot be captured by the completion report alone.

Conclusion

The Catalyst team will send emails six times each June and December (approximately for three years) starting from the June or December following the month after the completion report is received, requesting a report on how the project has grown.
The responses will be made public, allowing you to know the project’s growth since then.
This process will be mandatory for projects that have not received a completion report after the end of November 2024 (if the report has not been submitted, you may not be able to participate in FUND).
For projects that received a completion report before that date, we will ask for voluntary reports for three years starting from December 2024.

Project reporting should be based on clear guidelines provided at the time of proposal. Therefore, new reporting requirements should only apply to future proposals and should not be applied retroactively to projects that are already underway or completed.

Thank you! I have modified the requirement to only include Catalyst Fund 14 and above.
