I will apologize in advance as I am a total newbie. Is it OK for IOHK help desk to be asking me for a receiving address? I have had a hitch in the transfer from a voyager account to my daedalus wallet. 3 days and still no arrival of ada. I double checked everything and it is correct. I contacted IOHK help desk and they are requesting the receiving address, amount, and transaction ID. I recalled reading somewhere to NOT share receiving addresses. Just looking for some folks to chime in if this is appropriate. Just trying to recover my funds. thanks.
There is no problem with sharing the receiving address with the support team. Just make sure you never share your seed/private key or send your funds to any other address which is not from yourself.
