I asked this somewhere else, but on reflection, this is more likely the correct place.

When the KEVM and IELE are finally released, is it planned they are released at the same time, or will one be first? It seems to me the KEVM will be finished much earlier than Plutus/IELE.

Yes, but integrating the CL layer into SL layer is much more complex than just finishing a single separate KEVM-chain, so bottleneck here is sticking all this stuff together.
