# Specification of Relay Server

Hi,  
I got the idea of BP (Block Producer) Server, But how about the Relay server? What is the equipment requirement for Relay server? Any idea how many vCPU and RAM?  
And Can we host far away from BP server? I mean if we make Relay server in US and BP server in Asia?  
Will that work? and will that effect on the performance?

Since no one answer. I take a bet to buy 2VCpu and 4GB RAM and 60GB SSD. Hopefully this is right

Hello,  
from what I have seen so far are one or two cores, 4GB and around 1GB traffic per day enough. But it’s hard to say, because these values are from the testnet.
