I’ve seen the discussions about how the token registry will be used to store metadata for tokens like name, ticker, and description. However, I’ve noticed that the Testcoin tokens that I received from the testnet faucet appear to have that metadata assigned. Does anyone know if this info is just hardcoded in the wallet currently? or is it actually using the registry to pull up that information? My understanding was that the registry is not live yet.
