# Testnet Preview sync question

Hi! I’ve set up cardano-node and querying the tip now and it looks like I’m synced up to the preview testnet. However I’m confused because it says the block and epoch match the latest block on [Preview Blocks - Cardanoscan](https://preview.cardanoscan.io/blocks), but the epochs don’t match up.  
It says my slot is “6214555”, but the slot on cardanoscan is “80155”… everything else on the latest block matches though.  
Can someone please help me understand why these are different? Thanks!

If you click on a particular block, you’ll see that there is “Epoch / Slot”. There you have the `80155`, which is the number of the slot _in this epoch_ and the `6214555`, which is the _absolute_ number of the slot since the beginning of Cardano.
