Transaction Fee too high?

Current proposed transaction fee formula

a + b × size
a = 0.155381 ADA,
b = 0.000043946 ADA/Byte

“The reason for transaction fees is the prevention of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks”.

I think 0.15 ADA may be too expensive for average user in the future. To prevent DDoS, maybe we should add Time factor (t) & Exponential into the formula. So, if attackers tried to attack the server with tons of transactions, then the their transactions fee would rise exponentially. Thus it is very costly for any attack. In addition, the average users would benefit with smaller fees.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

The place where you got that information from also mentions further down that this formula is not written in stone, in fact, as the system gathers more adopters they will use the data that gets generated to tweak things like this very formula. In other words, it is by no means here to stay.
As far as I’ve read, of course.
