Good day, the work I do for Cardano falls under this Ambassador post and would like to know what trust level I am at now.
When I clicked this link(Ambassador Program | cardano.org | Cardano) to join Ambassador Program, I am taken to this 2023 post. Am confused. I was expecting a form to complete.
My last question is on social media platform usage. My communities are more users of whatspp and telegram than forum. Does that not count?

@indi_gital It is indeed a bit suboptimal/confusing that https://cardano.org/ambassadors/ links to this ancient post to “get started” in becoming an ambassador, especially since not all ambassador roles require active forum participation (in fact, most of them are here really rarely).
@HeptaSean this is because we have long since moved away from a form where you can simply “cold apply” because in more than 80% of cases this leads to people applying who do nothing at all in the Cardano community. (they think they are applying to be an Ambassador and then they start doing something, while the core spirit is that the Ambassador Program supports you to do what you are already doing today)
Therefore you have to unlock the category in the forum that has the application as a kind of funnel/prefilter.

@HeptaSean thanks for the feedback. I know it is still suboptimal, but as @adatainment mentioned, there is a reason behind it. Also, the get started post has been updated and makes it less confusing than before, but of course, you would need to read and interact with it, which is something we want potential ambassadors to be able to do, and not just click > send. While I agree that not all roles need to use the forum, this is the space we use for program communication and backlog, so they should use it anyway. I am happy to keep this conversation live as we can improve in base of this feedback.
