Hmm, can be many reasons:  
OS, browser, usb connectivity, etc

Till u will fix the yoroi issue u can connect your ledger on [adalite.io](http://adalite.io) it is a great wallet and u will not need to install anything

Thanks Alex. Still annoys me that the Cardano prefered wallets don’t work.

My usb connection with many other wallets work perfectly fine.

Then try to use brave browser;; did u already tried? Also, try to update the OS
