Gustavo A Oduber-Quigley is a graduate of Northeastern University (1982) in Boston (BSBA) with a concentration in International Marketing. After graduation, he lived in Puerto Rico. He worked with B. Fernandez y Co (Food Distribution to Supermarkets) as an assistant marketing manager (1982-1985) handling brand products such as Progresso, Kellogg Clorox, and Hormel. His skill set and talent have taken him into the investment and financial service sector (2009-2015). He passed his Series 7 license and worked with a broker-dealer in Miami where he designed various financial products for individual investors and small businesses. Since then, he has been involved in the global wealth-building strategy for companies and accredited individual investors.

Born in the Dutch Caribbean of Aruba in May of 1955, Gustavo acquired his artistic talent from his mother, a primitive artist named Julie Oduber-Quigley (1934-2001) originally born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. (Julie was mentioned and shown her artworks in the first-ever written book about Caribbean Art called “Dutch Caribbean Art” by Adi Marti & Jennifer Smit commissioned by the Netherlands Arts Council).

After many years of abstaining from his true talent, Gustavo rediscovered his passion for painting with a new focus on Zebra-influenced thematic abstract images which has generally evolved into an eclectic collection that is a combination in a single work of a variety of influences – mainly of elements from a different style of painting: decorative art, still art, techno art, and graphic art. In music, the term used may be either eclecticism or polystylism. His current platform is called the QuigleyArtXchange Series. Gustavo adopted his new artistic signature name G. Quigley in honor of his mother. All his paintings will be signed as G. Quigley.
