Crypto noob but a 30 year history in IT first as a dev in Cobol, C, CQCS, Powerhouse, Sybase, Oracle.
Then swapoed to technical testing … backend integration, data transfers, APIs, Data Migrations and Business Intelligence and reports testing… lots of SQL.
Last 5 years mainly cloud, mainly Azure and SQL server, but a bit of GCP, AWS & Snowflake.

I’m looking at Cardano as I’m trying to design a logical model for a democracy system (what features does it need to provide) but then will look at what tech stack and apps can provide the underlying infrastructure.

I’m networking with like minded people in the political, civic tech and “futurist” space working how we can put it all together as a modularised open source platform.

The idea being any independent candidate anywhere in the world can sign up to a set of principles and use it to organise proppsals into policy. But will work best when say a group of “flat pack democracy” candidates has taken over a town council and it becomes THE system.

Then on and up to National Candidates.

Happy to take PMs if this interests you. It may become a Cardano proposal through Catalyst later in 2022 if I can get my act together and the right set of Project Goals come up
