Thank you to everyone who attended the April Cardano Meetup in Brisbane!
This month’s session provided a comprehensive update on developments within the Cardano ecosystem, an introduction to Cardano governance and staking, and a core presentation on Masumi Network and the future role of AI Agents.
The featured presentation focused on demystifying AI Agents — highlighting the transformative potential they hold for businesses globally. We explored how Masumi Network is building the infrastructure necessary to support this emerging sector, including decentralised payment rails, digital identity management, and a marketplace for agent discovery and interaction.

Looking ahead, we are excited to see more AI Agent demos developed and launched at future meetups!
From an organiser’s perspective, it’s encouraging to see attendance slowly rebuilding. At our peak, Brisbane Cardano meetups welcomed 15–20 regular participants. Following a period of inactivity, numbers had declined, but at this event, we more than doubled attendance compared to the previous month (from 3 to 7 attendees 
). It’s a modest but positive step toward re-establishing a vibrant and consistent meetup community.
