Cabal instalation and build on M1

Please help in installation of Cardano on Express project.
I tried following the steps in the documentation, but after waiting for three hours for “cabal build all” to complete, it failed.

I have been having a similar problem. I know I got the right tags and my dependencies are the right versions, using Releases · input-output-hk/cardano-node · GitHub can someone experienced building a development environment on Mac M1 help please?

Are you using M1 on macOS or Asahi Linux?
