Google Docs is still great for quick write ups + feedback which is being used at the moment and then GitBook is great for formalising that information and also having different language variants once the documentation is more stable.
Thanks @GeorgeLovegrove
I’m going to drop some links here as well. I don’t know how it all ties together but I think it’s a source of some confusion and perhaps it’ll provide some answers as well.
How much has already been paid to this proposals and what’s been the return?
Thanks @QuasarChains, I’ll make sure to add any that are missing into the docs - think most are already covered
Regarding the question tucked in the middle - ‘How much has already been paid to this proposals and what’s been the return?’
Fund 5
Education resources - Documentation above is fully about this proposal. If a catalyst team like the contributors league can manage this I will mark it as complete. It’s went through iteration on projectcatalyst.org/resources and analysis found on YouTube to get to this result being most suitable.
Collaborators list - This is functional on the site, haven’t marked it as complete yet, when Darlington and me migrate the API over I will make a few more final changes and finish that up. Has around 140+ people on the list at the moment
Improve proposal information & project tracking - Requires better data sources and Ideascale API, once we get that we’ll be continuing, working with IOG on this.
Fund 6
Proposal media - Requires better data sources and Ideascale API, once we get that we’ll be continuing, working with IOG on this.
Progress reporting - Started here Overview - Catalyst Auditing and will be continued after I do everything i can to get contributors league through
Would expect education resources and collaborator list to be finished soon where i’ll write up a final report. Then progress reporting + idea tool look most likely as they aren’t blocked.
The overall key lessons I’ve got from the above proposals and being in the ecosystem for as long as I have now though is there is a need for far better alignment and collaboration within the core Catalyst ecosystem for it become a high quality impactful experience. This is why I am spending much of my recent time analysing the trade offs between proposal funding and a core team (via contributors league) as a better funding approach. I will pad the analysis out a bit more than it already has been, the current documentation can be found here - Overview - Cardano Contributors League
Catalyst at the moment has had fairly limited progress in evolving due to the current environment created from proposal based funding - it leads to fractured project efforts, misalignment and low flexibility. Read the docs for the analysis on this, would be great to get any feedback on that from anyone - more viewpoints and analysis the better. If anyone would like to help you can vote for ‘Cardano Contributors League’ challenge setting in the fund 7 voting round coming up!
You really have to join the twitter spaces @GeorgeLovegrove! You can shill your own stuff better than anyone I know and I try to push your updates and proposals when they cross my screen.
When I asked about the proposals and funding, I asked how much.
It seems like the projects are held up waiting on something from IOG or Fund 7 results, yeah?
What do you mean by

It sounds like the plan to finish the funded project is to hand it off to another one of your proposals? The catalyst auditing proposal should pick up some great data on contracting unfinished proposals to newly funded challenges. I like contributors league, good luck on that one.
It seems to me like the community has funded quite a few educational sites and onboarding initiatives and tools.
Thank you sir.
Here’s the best list I can find to all the funded proposals.
