I might be a little late to this thread, which has now moved back and forth on a variety of topics.
Going back to the original question (or more so, statement) by OP: “CF should abstain from delegating their ADA” I cannot help but wonder what kind of message this would send to the broader Community/Network.
Cardano is a PoS protocol, and having a Founding Entity (controlling huge amounts of ADA) not participate in the very protocol they have contributed to founding, IMO would do a lot more harm than good.
