I attended the meeting.
We discussed the list of educational materials the group compiled and their relevance to Cardano Governance. A suggestion was put forward to document the processes as best practice for retrospecting and preventing knowledge from siloing.
Gap analysis was discussed as the nest step, however for gap analysis proper stakeholder group mapping is desirable and yet unclear as of the time of writing. Simply put, if a group wants to analyse for gaps it must look not only in the knowledge but also in the potential learners. A conversation I had in an Open Source community lead to uncomfortable realization that empowering people through education comes less from creating educational materials and more from finding meaningful circumstance synergistic with the current meta.
In my personal conversations as a cofounder of Intersect I find the same usual suspect blockers to being able to do something meaningful on Cardano. However I experience social pressure to attend, having imagined there exist people who put their trust in me as a Committee Member, which in itself seems important enough to keep going.
To conclude, I want to express gratitude for the Committee compensation stipend.
