Cexplorer.io Article: Benefits of Liquid Staking
Ever wondered why Cardano’s staking model is often seen as a benchmark for accessibility and decentralization? A recent blog from cexplorer explains how its liquid staking approach sets it apart from other Proof-of-Stake networks. According to the post, unlike Ethereum staking, Cardano requires no lock-ups, carries no slashing risks, and imposes no minimums—allowing anyone to participate freely. This inclusive design has led to over 1.3 million active stakeholders, one of the highest participation rates in the industry. As per the blog, with the Chang Hard Fork introducing on-chain governance, Cardano is enabling users not just to secure the network but also to help shape its future.

Kris Bennett: Leios, A Major Milestone in Cardano’s Scalability Push
Cardano’s journey toward lightning-fast scalability just took a big step forward with the release of the Ouroboros Leios CIP (Cardano Improvement Proposal) draft.
In a recent Forum post by @Kris_Bennett, he explained how Leios directly tackles network congestion by decoupling block production from aggregation, allowing throughput to increase by an estimated 30–60x compared to Praos. According to the author, this design maintains decentralization and security while offering smoother performance for users, SPOs, and developers.
As per the post, the proposal is backed by rigorous research and simulations, and will now transition from R&D to Input Output Engineering, with a testnet on the horizon for community participation.

For a visual presentation explaining the workings of Leios, we also hosted a Roundtable Talk a year ago with Pi Lanningham and Aunaud Baiuley, who provided an insightful explainer that broke down its mechanisms in a clear and accessible way. Mike Hornan: The Constitutional Committee Framework Infographic
Mike Hornan is back with an essential new resource: The Constitutional Committee Framework Infographic.
We reached out to Mike Hornan, and he shared that The Constitutional Committee Framework Infographic is designed to guide users step-by-step in building a Consortium on-chain using the Credential Manager. Each ‘letter’ in the series breaks down one action, the role responsible, and the artifacts produced—helping you go from initial keys to full on-chain readiness with confidence.
The infographic is a large 180MB file, fully zoomable without losing quality.

Community Spotlight: Tony Thanh’s On-Chain Flappy Bird Demo
Community member and CEO of VTECHCOM Co., Ltd, Tony Thanh, recently shared on X the development of an upgraded on-chain version of Flappy Bird using the Hydra SDK. According to Tony, a casual game developer was guided through spinning up a Head and operating a Node, resulting in a fully functional demo on the Preprod testnet in just a few days. Tony highlights that the game delivers a play-to-earn experience with transparent, high-speed Web3 transactions. He hopes this use case of Hydra will attract more traditional game developers to join the Cardano community.
