For the Builders (Including Major Prizes)
Calling all builders: Want to showcase your projects and potentially take home a huge prize? Day 0 includes two big opportunities for those of you deep in the code and business plans – a chance to compete for prize pools and gain the visibility to power your next step.

For the Startups: The “Battle of the Builders” pitch competition puts you directly in front of potential investors and ecosystem leaders. To give you an idea of the scale, the 2024 prize pool reached over $650k. The application deadline closes tomorrow, October 3rd, so don’t delay.

For the Devs: The Layer Up Hackathon is your opportunity to take your project to the next level. With a $30,000 prize pool and incredible support on offer from ecosystem experts like teams from Mesh, Masumi, BloxBean and the Cardano Foundation, Layer Up is not to be missed. A Day for Everyone to Connect
Day 0 is not just for the builders – it’s for everyone. Beyond the builder events, Day 0 is really about all of us coming together at the w3.hub. It’s a full (and no-cost) day to hang out, see what others are working on, talk governance, and then celebrate at the Pre-Summit Welcome Party. It’s the perfect, relaxed start before the busy days of the Summit.
