Generating cold keys before fully sync?

I just setup my nodes and I went ahead and generate my cold keys before my core node is fully sync to the blockchain. Will it have an impact on my keys or nodes?

Hi! You should not generate the kes-key before it has synced, but the other cold key should be fine.

my core node is already running using the unsync kes-key.
How do i fix that?
Stop my core node and wait until the relay sync and then generate the KES-KEY for my core node???

Let the core node sync, and then you can recreate the kes key and use it to create a new node cert and it should be up to date :slight_smile:
