Persistent Inconsistencies
The fifth session was interrupted by the tail end of UGM’s end of semester exams and the beginning of UGM’s student holidays. It was a not ideal situation for the team to be placed in. These findings and upcoming findings became the basis of pivot which is now currently ongoing and have yielded more positive results.
Despite those challenges at that time, the team felt we need to do our best to uphold consistency. Any short-comings will be the foundations of bettering the future iterations of the program.
With that said, in this fifth session the students will go through understanding and discussing the correlation between a blockchain’s pre-determined ecosystem development path and it’s correlation with the notorious blockchain trilemma (Security, Scalability dan Decentralization).
We will also be discussing how the function of development layers such as Layer 1 or Layer 2 addresses the blockchain trilemma. This session due to it taking place during the holiday’s was held in a hybrid format.
Pivoting The Session Format
Hybrid format was a direct solution of discussions between students and the education team. Change of format in was then publicly communicated in the Telegram dan WhatsApp group. The following is this session’s publication.
For future reference for existing students and future students, we continuously record these sessions which they can find here.
