This deposit acts like a refundable security measure to deter spam and ensure only serious proposals move forward. While it prevents system abuse, some in the community find it too high, prompting a new solution—CoSponsor, a Catalyst-funded platform by Sundae Labs, enabling users to collectively fund proposals.
