Apparently, the Meetups category is for official events? I would like to create a Houston area Cardano-focused cryptocurrency meetup, and this forum seems an obvious place to advertise it, but I can’t post in “Meetups.”
If this is because Cardano doesn’t want to be involved in potential axe murders I understand, but it seems more like an oversight. People are trying to arrange meetups in “Random.”
I agree a section on community created user groups would be great. I just self funded and created the local Vancouver Meetup Group . My hope is we attract the attention of IOHK and the Cardano Foundation for support, interaction , and recently speaking events aimed to educating the community.
If someone from IOHK or Cardano could reach out, I’m a motivated user and community leader , I would like some advice on how best to proceed in supporting our community from a local level.
