REPORT ON THE RECENT CONSTITUTIONAL WORKSHOP HOSTED IN NALERIGU, GHANA

Hi Cardano Community, we had a successful Constitutional Workshop here in Nalerigu, Ghana. Below is a brief report of what transpired.

EVENT OVERVIEW
On the 24th of October, 2024, the Intersect Constitutional Workshop was hosted by Benjamin Baani in Northern Ghana, Nalerigu. The event started at 4:00PM at Center for Technology Education and Innovation Lab (CTEIL) in Nalerigu, Northeast Region of Ghana. It was organized as a small Workshop with about 11 participants, who provided response/feedback to Cardano’s Draft Constitution questions. Though we didn’t receive funding for the Nalerigu Constitutional Workshop, I however, thought it prudent to host it since there is a vibrant Cardano Community in Nalerigu.

EVENT DETAILS
The Workshop commenced with a welcome and introduction by Benjamin Baani and after which followed responses to Draft Constitution questions provided by participants (which were later sent to Intersect Constitution Team and the Civics Committee). Responses to Draft Constitution questions was followed by a Cardano talk and update by Jeremiah Baani, a Cardano Ambassador, who spoke about developments within the ecosystem. Other areas of the Cardano Blockchain Ecosystem were discussed. The Workshop came to an end at 7:15pm and participants received refreshment.

CONCLUSION
The Constitutional Workshop provided an opportunity for the voice of the Cardano Community in Nalerigu to be heard in building the final Cardano Constitution. My appreciation to the participants and Jeremiah Baani who helped me in bearing the cost of the Constitutional Workshop.
