This is not a attack on the Guardians. Many of the people in that group are good contributers. But I have put great time into Cardano espessially since they follow the “code is law”.
This shows not that principle.

I will talk about myself and I m sure many of the members have more or less the same interest
I have a profound respect of the project Cardano ( seeing way beyond that what is said )
Cardano could actually be for the first time a door to a different world, I m amazed by this project, philosophically, scientifically, the complexity and the innovations introduced, this is what excite me intellectually because it makes you wonder, dream, think and for sure hope that they will succeed, with the conviction that Cardano could be the solution
the price, I couldn’t care less but I m not hypocrite, if ADA grows in value I will be very happy but it’s not what it drives me to be interested in Cardano.
This is the difference between people of the lounge a new people moved by hype
Also, conversations here are more enjoyable.

Honestly there is a mix of opinions and you know I respect yours
We could vote for it if just to know what people think
We could actually do some tests between us on how to be organised and do little tests about voting, maybe could be interesting to know how community behave depending on each subject
Could be good those test that one day we could do the same using cardano voting system

He may even ask his employees to make a statement promising to give the community answers… only to leave those same employees in the blazing aftermath of his lie.

Parsons will hopefully reply to the open letters and fix the mess it looks like he has been pushed infront of him for the last year.
I think we need a functioning Foundation. But with the right people on top who actually executes according to roadmap.
There is no free rides.

There was not a lot of support the first time we tried to raise awareness about the Foundations ADA holdings, we were told by CF employees that there were problems, and they were not receiving any reason why this was being delayed.
It’s easy to say: it should’ve been uncovered faster. But honestly, when you are busy hosting meetups, making content, moderating, etc…
All the while you still want to have a good working relationship with the foundations employees.
There are a lot of nuances you are not seeing because of this lounge concept CF chose to adopt.

Is it possible to lock the foundation’s ada address？ and the community to establish a voting system to vote how to use the adas?
I’m a new user here in the forum while learning about Cardano since January. Today I stumbled about the Lounge here in the forum and was not able to read some of the discussions going on.
I can understand that it might be a good thing to dicuss some topics only between the very experienced forum users but I feel bad about being excluded from that kind of information. Maybe the lounge members could ask for the lounge being made “read only” for people like me not having trust level 3? This would allow for discussions not being disturbed by newbes and at the same time having complete transparency to the public.

There are people trading ADA who thought there was some kind of “whale conspiracy” to suppress the price, but in reality they just didn’t know what was going on.
I doubt it, because the people posting did so on the understanding that it was private (ok, semi-private but you get the idea).

I have to say, i was skeptical but this a definite foot-in-mouth for me. Seeing the reality and value of this mysterious announcement gives me even more faith in the better bart of the Cardano leadership team.

IOHK/Charles are dedicated scientists, who have a logic thought process. They wont leak any half ass information to the masses knowing very well how people would run with that. The facts will come out soon enough and the response will be in the best interest for the Cardano project.
They stayed focus for the last few years and that will not change, because of Cardano’s potential in the near future.
The timing to deal with this right now is perfect. The majority of potential investors wont even notice what’s going on.
Will Parson be able to Stake CF ADA? It is unclear how much ADA CF have I think it might be 650M ADA. We know he transferred ADA to another address. It is obvious to me he is going to try and embezzle as much funds from CF as possible before he gets the boot if possible. The only reason to give a friend 600k to audit programing code that will be deleted is to steal it. It is perfect cover to embezzle those funds from a the foundation. It sure seems like he is working with Dan Larimer to take down Charles and Cardano.
You’re confusing audits with sponsored research. The friend was involved in the research, there’s no reason to believe there was anything improper about the relationship with the auditors (though it seems there was no tendering process).
