Story behind the "Keys"

Hi community,
I am new to cardano. I am learning stuff on myself and following spo school. I have come to an confusion when understanding ‘keys’ as there are payment keys, stake keys, KES, VRF and what is the difference between v.key and s.key???
Is there any article or something that I can follow and understand the whole concept?

Hello,

.vkey is a public verification key whereas .skey is the private secret key

In regards to a pool, you will need your kes.skey, vrf.skey and opcert on the server to start the cardano node, and should protect your pool cold keys and address private keys at all costs.
