I think the point is that ETH is way more divisible, so the pie can be sliced many more times, so although the decimal is in a different place Ada cant be divided as much.

I don’t think it matters at all. I think the reason that people are suggesting there are too many coins is that if ADA was to hit $50 a coin right now the market cap would start to exceed the market cap of bitcoin, when that does actually happen the whole market will have grown exponentially anyway.
ethereum doesn’t have a max supply limitation. it will ad 18M each year to currency. so in the long run(100 years maybe) it will have more coin than ADA.
