It includes protection against the creation of new coins out of thin air, decentralization, consensus protocol, ledger immutability, transaction security, privacy, self-custody of assets, Sybil attacks, resistance to various attacks, governance, and security budget. Blockchain is a complex system in which some components rely on the security of others. Dependencies are sometimes not obvious at first glance. The article aims to show beginners the scope of the topic and inspire them to further study. We won’t go into the details. Many topics are covered in detail in our older articles.
