Over the weekend, the Africa Town Hall was successfully held in person in Burkina Faso with students from Université Privée Baba Coulibally.
The session focused on introducing students to real-world use cases of Cardano, highlighting opportunities within the ecosystem, and demonstrating how blockchain can be applied to solve practical problems. Students actively engaged in discussions around education, governance, and participation in the broader Cardano community.
As part of our commitment to capacity building and education, participating students will also be provided with vouchers to study for and sit the Cardano Blockchain Certified Associate (CBCA) examinations via the Cardano Academy platform. This initiative is aimed at equipping students with foundational blockchain knowledge and supporting their journey into Web3 and Cardano development.
We believe grassroots education and direct community engagement are critical to driving long-term adoption, and we’re excited to continue expanding these initiatives across Africa.
Thank you to the students and faculty of Université Privée Baba Coulibally for the warm reception and active participation.
