I have the Yoroi Chrome Extension. Everytime I click the extension I have to restore the wallet. Is this by design? Not very convenient.
No, it’s not by design. And it also did not appear as a problem in Yoroi’s recent sync issues.
Is anything special with your Chrome installation? Some reason that Yoroi cannot put its data in local storage?
When I start the Yoroi extension I can see blank key/value pairs in local storage for an entry called chrome-extension://. My guess is the “permanent” local storage is flushed when I close the browser. I have to app on my phone and I’m going to ditch the browser.
This is not standard behaviour of Chrome. Perhaps you have some very radical privacy extension/setting active?
But if you are happy with the phone app, it maybe does not matter.
Hello, I would like to tell you that you are not the only one. The same happened to me right today and resolving that brought me here. I would also like to know what to do, it is indeed very inconvenient to restore the wallet each time. I checked the app on my phone, it works fine though.

Was this issue ever resolved for anyone? I am currently having the issue of restoring my yoroi wallet using chrome extension every time as well.
Im having same problem i put my pinn in and it goes bonkers right back to home screen need help using mobile with a note 10 phone never had an issue since 2017 now cant get to my ada have it on gen 3 right now but cant see anything
This issue impacted me recently; nothing much changed; all was working well for years then all of a sudden recently I started to experience this odd behaviour. Very strange!!!
