Are Cardano staking rewards taxed?

Hi everyone,

So many of us are staking within Daedalus and Yoroi. The real question for individuals is whether or not crypto staking rewards are taxable events. The Cardano Foundation recently joined the Proof of Stake Alliance. A recent letter released by 4 congressmen showed that efforts to NOT tax staking rewards are being made. The following individuals signed the letter directed to the IRS.

I think its a nice step that the Cardano Foundation joined the Proof of Stake Alliance.

We need way more attention to this topic because in a few country it makes nearly no sense to stake if you have to pay such high amounts of taxes (talking about germany).

Anyway its really nice to see that the politic is aware of this and that they are doing something in that case.
