As scheduled and announced in the meetup and Forum post, the Cardano Blockchain Meetup in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, occurred on May 19, 2024. Out of 39 registered attendees, about 25 people were present.
During the meetup, we covered the following topics:
1. Cardano monthly updates
2. Updates and activities on Intersect
3. Catalyst Fund 12 and Vietnam’s proposals
Firstly, Ha Nguyen (myself) introduced the meetup agenda. Then, Mr. Sang from Vcoincheck presented the critical news about Cardano from the past month.
Buck Nguyen from Cardano Asia Tiktok followed with a presentation on Intersect’s current operations and development updates.
Next, I presented the Catalyst schedule and introduced the Catalyst Vietnam proposals.
Mr. Trung from Bamboo Labs introduced two proposals submitted to Catalyst Fund 12.
Following that, I, on behalf of proponent Thu Chin, introduced the four proposals she submitted for Fund 12. A project development team member then addressed questions from the community.
Mr. Dat from Miverse also introduced his proposal for Fund 12 and responded to community questions.
Finally, we held a Q&A session where many insightful questions were asked, particularly about Intersect. Mr. Chau from Tre Viet-Bamboo, Mr.Buck Nguyen from Cardano Asia Tiktok, and other presenters addressed these questions related to Intersect and Cardano.
We shared information, knowledge, and experiences throughout the meetup while networking and forming new collaborations.
We sincerely thank all the attendees who joined us at the Cardano Blockchain Meetup in Ho Chi Minh City, and we offer special thanks to Cardano for their support in promoting the event. Cardano’s enthusiastic support has motivated us greatly.
The success of this meetup is a testament to the dedication and passion of the Cardano community in Ho Chi Minh City. Despite the nearly 40-degree heat, everyone stayed until the end.
We eagerly look forward to future meetings to continue our collaboration, innovation, and development journey in the blockchain ecosystem.
